Measure around the widest point, usually where the bottom of the bra rests or just below the pectoral muscle.

Bend from side to side, locate crease. Tie string or ribbon around waist as reference for the following measurements.

Measure straight up from string at waist to just under the breast or pectoral muscle.
|
|
While wearing a well fitting bra, measure straight up from string at waist to your nipple.
|
|
Measure from center front waist to where you desire the top center front of the corset. Can be omitted for Overbust styles.
|
|
Measure straight up from string at waist to underarm. This is typically at the top of bra band or bottom of sleeve hole.
|

From a seated position, measure straight down from waist string to the lowest center front point, approximately to the top of pubic bone. Make sure you can sit down as the boning will not bend. 6" is average for females, 4" average for males.

From a seated position, measure straight down from waist string to the top of thigh, in-line with nipple. Make sure you can sit down as the boning will not bend. This measurement should NOT be longer than the previous measurement, if so, re-measure both.

|
Pull tape measure as snuggly as possible around waist to get an idea of how much reduction you would like. We recommend 2-3" for first time lacers or firm, muscular builds, 5-6" for experienced lacers or fleshy waists.

Imagine the tape measure as a purse strap over your shoulder. Measure from front waist to back waist.
